Terms of Service
1. SERVICE. All services are provided by Angela Hope. Angela Hope provides specialist business technical support, no services are outsourced. By using our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these terms.
The services provided under these terms of business relate to 'Squarespace Website VIP Day', ‘System Setup VIP Day’, ‘VIP Half Day’, ‘Full Day’, Half Day’ and ‘Power Hour’ where you will get:
a) Up to 1 hour of preparation time by the Service Provider.
b) A dedicated session of up to 6 hours on assignments to be determined by the Client (3 hours for a Half Day, 1 hour for Power Hour)
c) A 1 hour kick off call prior to the VIP day (not Half Day or Power Hour)
d) A questionnaire.
e) 30 days follow up support via email (not Power Hour). During the 30 days of follow up support, the Client will be able to email or message the Service Provider with any questions or concerns about the work that was performed during the session, and will receive a reply via email, message or video tutorials. This support does not cover additional work that exceeds what was done during the session. If the Client has additional work that needs to be performed, the Client will have the option to book another day, half-day or power hour.
2. TERM. This one-off session is designed to address specific technical issues or enquiries within the allocated time frame. The scope of the session will be determined based on the information provided by the Client and the expertise of Angela Hope. Rescheduling or cancelling of the session requires 7 days notice.
Clients are expected to be available for the duration of their scheduled appointment. This ensures that the full allocated time can be used to address your technical needs. Failure to do so may result in the session time being reduced accordingly.
3. FEES AND PAYMENT TERMS. The fee for this service is charged in advance on a one-off basis. A 50% payment is due by Stripe at the time of booking, with a further 50% due on the day. The cost of this service is outlined on the Squarespace Website VIP Day and System Setup VIP Day pages. Clients rebooking are offered discounted rates for Full and Half Days.
4. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY. I retain all copyright in any document prepared in the course of carrying out any services and is for your own personal or business use only.
5. COMMUNICATIONS. On the day, communication with Clients will be via WhatsApp unless otherwise agreed in advance. Electronic communications are not totally secure and I cannot be held responsible for damage or loss caused by viruses. My usual business hours are: Monday 9am-4pm, Tuesday 9am-4pm, Wednesday 1pm-4pm, Thursday 9am-4pm, Friday 9am-12pm. During school holidays hours may be reduced. Outside of these times responses to any communications may not be read or responded to.
6. DATA PROTECTION. I am committed to protecting your data. My privacy policy is available at angelahope.co.uk/legal/privacy-policy.
7. CONFIDENTIALITY AND RETENTION OF INFORMATION. Communications between us are confidential. I will take all reasonable steps not to disclose personal information about you and your business save for in circumstances as required by law or by me to perform the internal operations of my business, such as disclosure to an accountant. Documents and information in relation to your matters will not be held longer than required by insurance provider obligations.
8. CANCELLATION. I understand that circumstances may change. For Clients who wish to cancel their scheduled service, I offer a 7 Day cancellation policy that allows for a full refund or transfer of session.
Please review the following terms for our cancellation policy:
a) Customers who wish to cancel a scheduled service must do so at least 7 days before the scheduled start time of the service. Cancellations made within 7 days of the scheduled start time may not be eligible for a refund.
b) If a cancellation is made within the designated 7 day window, I will provide a full refund of any fees paid for the service. The refund will be processed using the same method of payment used for the original transaction.
c) To request a cancellation and initiate the refund process, customers should contact angela@angelahope.co.uk. Please provide your name, service details, and transaction information when requesting a cancellation.
d) The 7 day cancellation policy and full refund option apply only to services that have been scheduled and paid for in advance. Services that have already been rendered or are within 7 days of the scheduled start time may not be eligible for a refund. e) Customers who do not attend a scheduled service without providing prior notice will be considered a "no-show." No-shows are not eligible for a refund.
9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY. While I strive to provide accurate and reliable technical support services, I cannot guarantee that the solutions provided will resolve your technical issues. It is important to note that technical issues can be complex and vary based on individual circumstances. My assistance is based on the information you provide. Each person and business is different and results may vary.
10. THIRD PARTY RIGHTS. No person other than the person provided with a copy of these Terms of Service shall be deemed to have the benefit of the services, or have any rights to enforce or rely on any of the terms.
11. APPLICABLE LAW. These Terms of Business are my standard terms and conditions of business and should at all times be construed in accordance with the laws of England & Wales. The courts of England & Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction in relation to any claim, or dispute arising out of this engagement or any matter arising from it.
